It wasn’t until June 1920 that Edie went to Buckingham Palace to receive her Military OBE. Details can be seen in the British Journal of Nursing of 19 June 1920 – click here and in the London Gazette of 12 December 1919 – click here. It seems that she was bestowed with the Royal Red Cross First Class at the same time. See The Times Court Circular for 11 June 1920 below (last, larger item).
