Edie presentation in Strasbourg – in French!

In early June 2014 we went to Strasbourg on the French/German border to give our Edie presentation – this time in French. We both speak reasonable French but it was a challenge! As a child, Lisa lived in France for a time and Dick was able to dig into that part of his brain which somehow still retains A Level French and German.
This was a meeting of the French Association pour l’Autobiographie and the German Deutsches Tagebucharchiv and a wonderful opportunity to meet French and German colleagues interested in WW1 diaries.

Here we are in our atelier, having just completed
